- Mr. Arthur is a principal at the Gries Investment Funds. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial service field and several years as the CFO of a manufacturing entity. His duties include, sourcing, underwriting and closing transactions as well as investor relations. Before joining the Gries Investment Funds Mr. Arthur spent 14 years at The Bank of Tampa. During his tenure he led Commercial Real Estate, Special Assets and a Commercial Lending Team.
- From 1996 to 1999 Mr. Arthur was the CFO and 24% owner of Quality Packaging Company, located in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Arthur sold his interest in the company in 1999. From 1985-1996 Mr. Arthur was Vice President of Corporate Banking for SouthTrust Bank (now Wells Fargo) and Bank South (now Bank of America) in Atlanta, GA.
- Presently Mr. Arthur serves on several civic boards, as Vice Chair of Mental Health Care dba Gracepoint , and Treasurer of the Tampa Metro YMCA. Previous civic work includes leadership positions at UCP, A Brighter Community and the United Way of Tampa Bay.
- Mr. Arthur holds a BA in Economics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA from Georgia State’s Mack Robinson School of Business. Mr. Arthur is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking Colorado and holds a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation since 2004.
